“Soot and Santa” Nagambie 2019.

There was a great turn out for the ATHS Australian Chapter Christmas weekend.

We started with a winery tour on Friday arvo to Mitchellton Winey, where we did a tour and wine tasting. This was followed by a BBQ on Friday night at the Nagambie Leisure Park where we all stayed.

Saturday morning there was a drive around Nagambie, which took us to the Goulburn Weir, Kirwan’s Bridge and a shed visit to Paris and Son’s (Nagambie Hardware owners)  to see the treasure they have.

Saturday arvo we went on a boat cruise around Nagambie Lakes and up to Kirwan’s Bridge, followed by a dinner in the conference room at the leisure park, who also did the catering for dinner.

Sunday morning we headed to Puckapunyal Army Museum, which not only specially opened for us, but has had an upgrade and looks pretty good! If you have not been l would recommend you go, but check the opening days and times before hand.
