Why Join Us?
The American Truck Historical Society is a group of down to earth, like minded old vehicle enthusiasts. Many have worked in the trucking industry and others simply have a weird obsession for cool old commercial vehicles.
The ATHS- Australian Chapter brings these people and their families together in a great, friendly environment with great events and quarterly meetings. The three main ATHS events are:
- American Iron Truck Display held at Rotary Park, Echuca (September)
- Lancefield Truck Show at Lancefield Recreation Reserve, Lancefield (February)
- East Gippsland Heritage Truck Display at the Recreation Reserve, Maffra (November)
The ATHS- Australian Chapter Inc is a not for profit club, so monies raised at these events go to various charities to help out each respective area.
You can become part of our great events and social outings, you will receive a top quality magazine 6 x per year as a magazine subscriber or as a full member you will receive also the American Chapter newsletter and entitlement for club registration for your cool vehicles if you have some.
Anyone is welcome to join the ATHS whether you own a truck or not, as long as you have a passion for old commercial vehicles then jump aboard.
The ATHS also have a well stocked mobile merchandise van, so looking the part is easy too and at an affordable price.
Membership start with a magazine subscription which gets you 6 magazines per year called “The Gearchange” filled with trucking info for $90 per year.
Then there is full membership, which gives you both the Australian and American “The Gearchange” newsletters and also the American Annual Members Truck Catalogue and the ability to club permit register your vehicles with the club for an annual fee of $175.
There is also an option to advertise with the ATHS in the newsletter and on the website for an extra fee.
